These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VantageEA. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Age Requirement: By using VantageEA, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to use this service. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using our service without permission, please contact us immediately.

2. Service Description

VantageEA is an online EA (Enrolled Agent) exam preparation platform that provides:

• Prometric-style mock exams for all three parts of the EA exam
• Unlimited practice tests with 100 multiple-choice questions each
• Detailed explanations for each question
• Performance analytics and progress tracking
• Access via web and mobile devices

VantageEA is an independent exam preparation service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the IRS, Prometric, or any government entity. Our service is designed to help candidates prepare for the exam but does not guarantee exam success.

3. Subscription & Billing

Subscription Plans

We offer two subscription options:

• Monthly Subscription: $29 per month, billed monthly until cancelled
• Lifetime Access: $199 one-time payment for unlimited access

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, billing inquiries, and tax compliance. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

Billing and Renewals

Monthly subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled. You will be charged on the same day each month. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

Free Trial

We offer a 1-day free trial for new users. No credit card is required during the trial period. After the trial expires, you must subscribe to continue accessing the service.

4. Refund Policy

How to Request a Refund

Refund Eligibility

All content on VantageEA, including but not limited to exam questions, explanations, software, graphics, logos, and text, is the property of VantageEA and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our service for personal exam preparation purposes only. This license does not permit you to:

• Reproduce or distribute any content from the platform
• Create derivative works based on our content
• Use our content for commercial purposes
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices

User Content

You retain ownership of any feedback or suggestions you provide to us. However, by submitting feedback, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate your feedback into our service without attribution or compensation.

7. Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

VantageEA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

No Exam Success Guarantee

While our platform is designed to help you prepare for the EA exam, we do not guarantee that you will pass the exam. Exam success depends on many factors including your study habits, prior knowledge, and test-taking ability.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VantageEA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. User Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VantageEA, its proprietor, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any content or information you submit, post, or transmit through the Service
• Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations

This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your account and your use of the Service.

9. Termination

Termination by You

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or used the service in a manner that could damage our reputation or service.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access and use the service immediately ceases. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, liability limitations, and dispute resolution clauses.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of VantageEA shall be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies in accordance with the governing law below.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of VantageEA shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.
